by helping them develop self-respect and self-confidence.
Helping others and developing a sense of personal
responsibility and respect for adult authority all add to
the student’s emotional strength.
To meet the student’s social needs
by helping them develop self-control and respect for the
rights and property of others. Decision making and
following directions as individuals and as a group develop
the student socially.
To meet the student’s intellectual
needs
by helping them develop an enthusiasm for learning, a
proper use of language and the ability to handle basic
classroom materials.
