Tyro Community Christian School (TCCS) was founded in 1985
as a ministry of the Tyro Christian Church, a fellowship
which encompasses not only the immediate Tyro population,
but many surrounding communities as well.
While TCCS remains a ministry of the Tyro Christian Church,
it maintains a policy of non-doctrinal instruction. A
curriculum of Bible instruction permeates all grade levels
with emphasis on knowledge of basic biblical principles.
Students attending Tyro Christian School come from a wide
range of Christian denominations and are taught by a
qualified staff of Christian men and women.
TCCS includes grades Pre-school through
12th
grade and offers academic programming that addresses
learning with spiritual emphasis as a foundation.
Tyro Community Christian School is located one block north
of Highway 166 in Tyro, Kansas. Facilities include
air-conditioned classrooms, chapel, modern computer lab,
fenced playground, kitchen and
gymnasium.
Accreditation
Tyro
Community Christian School is fully accredited by
the
Association of Christian Schools
International (ACSI).
